About the Symposium

This event has been postponed until next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To have coincided with Wollongong City’s 50-year celebration, the Symposium was to focus on cities in economic transition within the context of the Australia’s Gateway Cities: Gateways to Growth report. Thought leaders across academia, all levels of government and the private sector were to come together to examine the opportunities for the Gateway Cities of Wollongong, Newcastle and Geelong.
